PALFINGER invites existing and potential customers to the first live event of the pandemic.

Virtual trade fairs and online product presentations are admittedly good solutions under the conditions brought about by the virus, but the professionals believe that they are no substitute for face-to-face contact between providers and users. This is becoming apparent once more at the current Environment, Energy and Recycling Expo event at Coreum, which runs until the end of September in Stockstadt am Rhein. The event, which is free to visit, is of course operating with the appropriate health and safety measures in place.

Experts are utilizing this platform to present new technologies and machinery and demonstrate how the companies in the recycling industry can meet the ambitious environmental targets.

Industry leader PALFINGER is also taking the opportunity – alongside 20 other prominent exhibitors – to showcase some of its latest products and services.
In practical demonstrations, trained and experienced consultants are illustrating the functions and benefits of the design and technology available for hookloaders and skiploaders as well as recycling cranes.

The PALFINGER team during the first week of the event included regional sales managers Rüdiger Pabel and Lutz Rößler as well as trainer Florian Kaiser, who provided potential customers with practical answers to all questions concerning performance, cost-effectiveness, ergonomics and safety. Further specialists will be on site in an advisory capacity in weekly rotations.

Incidentally, visitors to the trade show can try out the vehicles on show that feature PALFINGER equipment, too. They can also talk to the team at the information stand in the exhibition hall. The extensive network of service partners is also sure to be a productive topic in this respect.

For all those who cannot attend, PALFINGER is offering a webinar on the topic of “Greater safety in the collection of recyclable material” every Friday in September, which puts topics concerning securing loads, stability, resistance to tipping and legal requirements in the spotlight. You can register and find out more through the Coreum website.

The “Next Epsolution”

At the Coreum Expo, PALFINGER is demonstrating the solutions that the models from the Epsilon crane series offer the environmental industry with the aid of the M12L80 Master Drive recycling crane.
Mounted at the rear of a MAN TGS 33.470 with two-sided tipper, the slimline unit with its eight-meter outreach and comfort top seat takes care of all kinds of tasks both in the loading of scrap metal and for container services.
The Epsilon sets new standards in design as well as technology. Probably the fastest crane of its type, it can be maneuvered very precisely from the multifunctional command center and offers impressive HPSC real-time monitoring as well as the variable use of equipment such as polyp and clamshell grabs or manipulators for glass containers.

A cable remote control at the base is also available as an option for lowering the crane arm down to the load or for raising it before the tipper is emptied.
Ergonomically shaped joysticks, adaptive High Performance Stability Control and, last but not least, a protective cover and seat heating make life easier for the crane operator.

In conclusion, both a visit to the PALFINGER stand at this year’s Coreum event and an online presence through the webinar provide players in the industry with valuable information and guidance with regard to the current state of the art in modern recycling.
