Fabian Jost

Technical writer

Fabian strikes fear into people. But don't worry – he does it only once a year. As a great advocate of tradition and customs, the keen hunter takes part in Krampus parades every winter, looking truly terrifying in the process. The rest of the year, however, he is extremely approachable. If someone needs something from him or has a question, they will get an answer straight away. Fabian is dependability personified. 'I'm there if my colleagues need me', he says. 'As far as I'm concerned, that goes without saying.'

After graduating from HTL in Hallein, where he specialised in business IT and industrial engineering, he joined PALFINGER EPSILON as a technical writer in 2014. Since then, he has progressed further and now works in product management and hydraulic development. He draws up hydraulic plans, tests product improvements and lends his expertise in support of other departments, such as customer support. He finds the perfect balance for his challenging job in nature and his commitment to numerous traditional activities, such as hunting, the regulars' table at the pub and playing the hunting horn – and his role as Krampus.
